The UN PRI comprise six principles that serve as a basis for responsible investing. As a signatory to the principles, responsAbility commits to transparency and considers environmental, social and governance aspects in its investment process.
Furthermore, responsAbility is one of the first signatories of the Principles for Investors in Inclusive Finance (PIIF), a framework for a responsible investment approach in microfinance.

responsAbility supports The Smart Campaign, an initiative started by CGAP, Accion and the microfinance industry to promote client protection in the microfinance sector.

responsAbility is on the advisory board of The Rating Initiative, whose
aim is to encourage microfinance institutions to increasingly adopt external
ratings covering both financial and social performance.

Awards

LuxFLAG is an independent institution based in Luxemburg with the aim of facilitating capital increase for microfinance by marking microfinance vehicles with a specific label. The LuxFLAG label, as also received by the responsAbility microfinance fund, attests to the investor that the corresponding microfinance vehicle is directly or indirectly invested in the microfinance sector.
