The funds managed by responsAbility invest in small and medium-sized enterprises offering innovative and scalable business solutions at the base of the pyramid (BOP). These businesses achieve value creation by providing products or services to BOP clients, or by integrating
BOP suppliers into the economic value chain. Financing is aimed at supporting their early growth or expansion stage, and it is provided in the form of equity,
debt, or hybrid instruments. Depending on the type of business, financing in USD, EUR, or specific local currencies is considered. In selected cases, financing for capacity building is provided.

Transparent ownership and governance structure

Ability to deliver quarterly financial reports, annual financial audits and annual environmental, social and governance (ESG) reports

Focus sectors are renewable energy, agricultural value chain, and ICT. Other sectors, such as education and healthcare, also eligible
|
|
|
Developing economies and emerging markets, with priorities given to South and Southeast Asia, East Africa, and Latin America
