Carbon Impact Specialist, responsAbility

David is part of the Business Development team working on innovative Climate Finance solutions and is responsible for the technical validation and impact reporting of the projects reported to responsAbility managed climate change mitigation funds. After completing his degree in chemistry in Caracas, Venezuela, he moved to Spain to continue his studies. For several years after, he worked at a major energy company identifying and implementing GHG emissions reduction projects, developing energy management systems and being part of several cross-sectorial groups promoting energy efficiency.

Samuel Baumgartner

Head of Wholesale, responsAbility

Samuel is the head of wholesale distribution at responsAbility overseeing the fund-distribution network. He is also a frequent keynote speaker on sustainable and impact investing topics. Prior to his time at responsAbility, he worked with an investment advisory in Peru and Chile matching investors with local private equity opportunities. Samuel holds a bachelor degree in business administration and is working on his masters in finance focusing on sustainable finance at the University of Zürich.
