responsAbility Participations AG - Capital increase successfully completed

Zurich, 21 January 2014 - responsAbility Participations AG successfully completed its CHF 23.5 million capital increase as of 16 December 2013. The capital will be used to further expand a portfolio of sound financial services providers with attractive growth potential in developing and emerging economies whose clients consist of low-income households as well as micro, small and medium-sized enterprises.

The successful completion of the capital increase of 16 December 2013 has provided responsAbility Participations AG with CHF 23.5 million of funds. As a result, the company’s equity capital has increased to CHF 42.4 million. The total amount of capital committed is CHF 65 million. The shareholders of responsAbility Participations AG include pension funds, renowned Swiss banks and the KfW Group.
The aim is to reach a capitalization of CHF 200 million through additional capital increases. These funds will be used to further expand a portfolio of sound financial services providers with attractive growth potential in developing and emerging economies whose clients consist of low-income households as well as micro, small and medium-sized enterprises. The financial services providers receive active support in the implementation of growth, formalization or consolidation strategies.
