Transition to Net Zero - Understanding Sustainability as an Opportunity MUNICH
This event is co-organized with M&G Investments and will be held in German
In our opinion, attractive returns and sustainability are not contradictory. Forward-looking management that recognises far-reaching changes in society and adapts the business model accordingly is a prerequisite for long-term corporate success. It is often the quality companies that have particularly high standards with regard to the sustainability of their business models and often find ways to turn the structural trend towards CO2 reduction into a long-term competitive advantage.
Find out from our climate experts what contribution targeted investments can make to a transition to net zero emissions and what to look out for in portfolio decarbonisation strategies.
Climate Impact Spotlight: We are facing the huge challenge of having to massively reduce CO2 emissions - but which sectors are actually crucial to successfully tackling climate change? Are there companies that are already on the path to decarbonisation? And how can we achieve and measure a positive impact by investing in bonds.
Learn more from Christine Bürgi, responsAbility's climate impact specialist, about our methodology for achieving a measurable, impactful effect, CO2 reductions achieved and specific case studies.
Investment opportunities with quality equities on the path to CO2 neutrality: Learn from Susanne Grabinger, Investment Director at M&G, what is important when selecting quality stocks, why a carbon reduction strategy can be an advantage for companies and how an equity portfolio can be aligned with the Paris Climate Agreement.
