Zurich and Singapore, 4th of June 2024 —As part of its broader USD 500 million climate investment strategy aimed at actively reducing CO2 emissions in Asia, responsAbility, on behalf of investors, has allocated working capital financing to Gradiant. This investment will finance the growth of the company’s operations across emerging markets in Asia, signifying a major step in responsAbility’s mission to mobilize capital and invest in solutions that generate positive societal and environmental impact.

The investment from responsAbility will be used to enhance the growth of Gradiant’s operations in the industrial wastewater treatment sector across emerging markets in Asia. Gradiant has developed in-house technology solutions to maximize renewal of wastewater into freshwater while reducing the energy consumption for the wastewater treatment. responsAbility’s funds will help the company scale-up projects in the rapid growth Asia region.
