In recent years, sustainability has taken a back seat in many places. The US has long set the standards in the field of sustainable investment, but has taken a massive step back due to Trump's erratic policies. New players are entering the scene.

Among other things, this is having an effect on impact investing, which differs from traditional investing and goes beyond ESG and sustainability approaches. It focuses on using capital to achieve positive social or environmental outcomes while also generating profits. The decisive factor is the concrete, measurable difference that an investment makes. The spectrum ranges from renewable energies to financial solutions for disadvantaged groups.
