In October, the GIIN (Global Impact Investing Network) published its highly anticipated Global Impact Investing Intelligence Series, offering comprehensive insights into the global impact investing landscape. To set the scene, Christian Rosenholm, Director at GIIN, will present the conclusions of the “State of the market 2024 report” and share his reflections on the latest trends, performance and allocations on a global level. Following the presentation, we’ll open the floor for an engaging discussion with Nordic asset owners and managers to explore how these insights influence future opportunities of impact investments globally and more specifically in the Nordics.

Meet the Speakers
Christian Rosenholm
Director, Institutional Engagement, the GIIN
Christian Rosenholm serves as Director, Institutional Engagement. In this role, Christian Rosenholm will focus on furthering relationships with institutional asset owners to develop ways to systematically integrate impact within investment strategies and approaches and to help identify opportunities to advance impact investing within institutional asset owner community. Prior to joining the GIIN, Christian Rosenholm has held several professional positions targeting engagement of the private sector and investors in sustainable development with a commercial mindset. Most recently, he served as the senior ESG advisor at the Danish Sovereign Wealth Fun, EIFO, where he developed a new ESG assessment approach, shaped policies and advised investment teams and investees on sustainability matters. Christian Rosenholm will be based in Denmark, but he has lived and worked for many years in the U.S., Southeast Asia and Africa. In Southeast Asia and the U.S., Christian Rosenholm worked for IFC (International Finance Corporation), where he was the focal point in developing IFC's impact assessment approach for Private Equity fund investments. He supervised the global impact evaluation program and was one of the original key architects in the development and launch of the Operating Principles for Impact Management.

He held various sales & business development related roles, including Equity & Fixed Income Sales and was part of building up the capital raising arm in alternative investments. Formerly Robert also spent 2 years within Wealth Management at Pensum Asset Management. Robert holds a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in International Business from Warwick Business School, including an exchange year at Mannheim Business School. Fluent in English, Swedish, and German.
