responsAbility backs three leading agribusinesses in Latin America, further expanding its Sustainable Food portfolio

Zürich, Switzerland / Santiago, Chile / Lambayeque, Peru / Sonora, Mexico, February, 25 2026 – Swiss impact asset manager responsAbility Investments AG ("responsAbility") has invested through its responsAbility Sustainable Food Latin America Strategy into three high-performing agribusinesses across the region. The investments expand the portfolio’s geographic footprint and reinforce diversification across crops, production windows, and key export markets.

The investments include:

(1) Inversiones VSJ SpA ("Álamos Group"), a Chilean producer of avocados, citrus, and walnuts known for its regenerative agriculture practices and strong links to European markets;

(2) Promotora y Servicios Lambayeque S.A.C. ("Proserla"), a Peruvian grower of licensed table grape varieties and avocados, operating an integrated, high-efficiency logistics model; and

(3) Mega Greenhouses S. de R.L. de C.V., part of Chucho Produce Group, an industry-leading, vertically integrated Mexican platform for year-round vegetables, including tomatoes, peppers, and cucumbers.

These three investments advance the Strategy’s goal of building a diversified portfolio across countries, crops, and geographies, while enhancing year-round production capabilities to supply major buyers in North America and Europe.

The transactions reflect responsAbility’s ability to originate, structure, and execute investments in scalable agribusinesses at the core of Latin America’s food value chains. Backed by strong local presence and deep sector expertise, responsAbility continues to expand a robust pipeline of opportunities aligned with the Strategy’s impact and sustainability goals.

Scaling a diversified, high-impact food portfolio

Launched in early 2023, the Sustainable Food Latin America Strategy has committed over USD 110 million to a growing portfolio of export-oriented producers. The Strategy targets companies with operational excellence and commitment to measurable environmental and social performance, supporting the transition to more resilient and sustainable food systems.

With this round of investments, the Strategy adds Chile as a strategic market and deepens exposure in Mexico and Peru, enhancing resilience through open-field, clustered ranch, and protected agriculture models.
