Meet Our People

Thomas joined responsAbility Investments in 2023 as Head of Global Strategies and Climate, Fund Investments, co-heading a team that originates, structures, negotiates, executes and manages innovative, developmental and profitable private equity fund investments.

In this capacity, Thomas is co-leading the portfolio management of the Swiss Investment Fund for Emerging Markets (SIFEM), the development finance institution of the Swiss Confederation.

Before joining responsAbility, Thomas worked at the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB), where he supported the founding of AIIB and particularly the establishment of AIIB’s private equity business practice.

Earlier in his career, Thomas was an advisor at Germany’s Federal Ministry of Finance and also worked at KfW, where he was responsible for executing and managing debt and equity transactions in emerging market and developing economies across Asia.

Thomas holds a BBA and MSc from the European University Viadrina, Germany and an MBA from the Catholic University of Cordoba, Argentina. He also holds both the CFA charter and the CAIA charter and is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts.
