Master’s degree in Economics from the University of Zurich and a Master of Advanced Studies in Development and Cooperation from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Zurich.

Financial industry experience since 2009 with a focus on energy since 2015. Established long-term partnerships with partner institutions, sponsors, co-lenders, advisors and development agencies.

Leading a global investment team responsible for all debt financing for companies / projects in the climate finance sector (energy access, distributed energy for C&I off-takers and small-scale renewable energy generation)

Extensive knowledge of business practices in developing countries, including 50+ due diligences conducted in 20+ countries. Built up a strong network in Sub Saharan Africa while being based for more than four years in Nairobi, Kenya.

Proven track record in leading, (re-)structuring, negotiating and executing debt investments in the financial and energy sectors.
